RAVEN CEO ATTENDS WHITE HOUSE CEREMONY FOR SIGNING OF TAKE IT DOWN ACT

Washington, D.C. — Raven, a national leader in the fight against the online exploitation of children, is proud to announce that John Pizzuro, has been invited to attend today’s White House signing ceremony for the TAKE IT DOWN Act, scheduled for 3:00 PM ET.

This landmark legislation marks a significant advancement in the protection of individuals from non-consensual intimate imagery and the growing threat of AI-generated deepfakes. Raven’s inclusion in the ceremony underscores the organization’s pivotal role in transforming the nation response to the online exploitation of children.

“We are honored to be recognized at such a critical moment in protective policy advancement,” said John Pizzuro, CEO of Raven. “The TAKE IT DOWN Act is a powerful step forward in safeguarding the rights and dignity of those impacted by online abuse.”

The TAKE IT DOWN Act establishes new protections against the distribution of explicit images shared without consent and mandates faster removal of such content by online platforms. The legislation also addresses the misuse of AI technologies in the creation and spread of harmful digital content.
